2018 EXPY, F150 engines are identical to the NAVI & Raptor except for the compression ratio
Same Crank, Rods, Block, Heads, Cams, Turbo's, Etc,. ETC
Just different pistons with lower compression ratio
Probably so they can get by safely if someone chooses to run 87 octane crap fuel in their raptor
That is why most tuning sites show larger HP & Torque increases for the 375-400hp GEN II ecoboost when compared to the Raptor/NAVI engines
Not at all worried about longevity with our 2018 EXPY & 2018 F150
5 Star even offers extended warranties for someone who is concerned about longevity
Have owned 6 ecoboost vehicles
All were tuned, driven a lot of miles & we had ZERO issues with them
Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification on that.

Talked to 5Star Tuning yesterday. They said to run the E50 tune you must use a combination of E85 and 93 octane fuel to prevent retarding of the time and knocking. They said for most applications, the 93 file is going to work best for most.

If e85 is not available then ya you can't use the E30 or E50 Tunes
Only 1000 miles on vehicle so will wait for first oil change
Install full synthetic oil then install E50 tune

FYI
When I took the truck our to nearest pavement for the first 5 mph rolling start WOT run there were 3 passengers in the truck along with me
One weighs 350 lbs
I weigh 255 lbs
The other 2 about 200 lbs each
So that added 1005 lbs to the trucks weight
Truck has 36 gallon tank & was full with E85-Gasoline blend
Still broke tires loose on every shift until about 65 mph
Goes like a bat outta H---
Love it
Well so happy with the E30 5* tune installed on my F150 going to order it for my EXPY as well
E30 produces way more power than 93 octane performance/tow tune from 5*
E85 is $2.4999 here & premium is $3.499
So even though fuel mileage is about 80% of gasoline, it is still lower cost per mile when blending E85 & 91 octane E10
about 65% E85-35% 91 octane E10
Much higher octane than 93 E10
Can easily change back to 93 octane tune if I plan to travel where E85 is not available
With the 5* calibrations there is no need to use manual shifts, trans shifting is vastly improved, so stomp on the go pedal & let the trans do it's thing:burnout::burnout:
