Good afternoon expy experts. I purchased a 2008 EL 4x4. When I purchased it had the exhaust smell in the cabin with the heater/ac running, not on recirc. I knew the manifolds needed to be changed, so I have done that as well as new cats, new o2 sensors, and new muffler. I do not have any codes for anything showing on my scanner either. I still get this smell, again when hvac is on but not on recirc. I can not for the life of me seem to find where this is coming from. I may try changing the injectors, plugs, and coils next, but I hate to keep throwing money at this and not seeing any results.
If anyone had any advice, I would greatly appreciate it as even though this is a minor issue(in terms of I can just remember to turn recirc on) I would really like to figure this out and fix it the right way.
