Any ideas for mods for my Grey Expedition XL?

Do you think roof lights would be a good idea with removing the side steps?

The grey expeditions don’t seem to have much ideas in regards of looks unlike the other colors

Why remove the side steps? What kind of look at you going for? How much moding do you want to do?

Can you find some black rims for it over there ? I wouldn't bother with roof lights unless it's required by your laws. It's an SUV, not a tractor trailer rig.

In Saudi Arabia people like roof lights, specially on big cars, they always put them on the Sierra 1500s specially

Not planning for mechanical changes, more of a cosmetic change to it, its a 2wd so I won’t bother with going to fancy off-road looks, also I don’t like the fancy big chrome rims people put

I was thinking of giving it the “one Eyed” look but it doesn’t seem that safe

If you're going to be gray, then be gray. I would look at changing the color on the grill and wheels.
Body, grill, and wheels need to get on a theme. They're all kind of doing different things right now. The grill is ready for the sparkly car show, the wheels are just going to be dull to spite the grill, the Gray is kind of trying to get along with everyone and being very grayish about it. Gray and anthracite, gray and a semi gloss black, black chrome, yellow, brushed metal, ........?????? Maybe a window tint that fit in with whatever you choose.
A few well placed accent pieces (painted tow hooks, pinstripe, painted calipers, subtle things) go a long way when well thought out.
