head unit removal...help

Can someone tell me what tools i need (as well as how) to remove the head unit in my 2001 EB with the audiophile system? I'm tryin to get back there and change a RCA converter that was installed a little while ago. thanks

I bought the ford radio removal tool at Walmart for about $4.99 - you take the tool and insert it in the holes on both side of the radio head unit and press out slightly and pull out. If you have never done this before it takes a little bit of a touch. Try it and I'm sure you will get the hang of it. It doesn't have to be strong armed. If you are pressing out to hard and the unit is not coming out then you are doing something wrong.
