Hey Hey Hey

Some of us happen to be in places where tire chains are a need to have item. Im on another forum for tractors. Mine is only a Garden Tractor but got sucked in. I couldnt afford much and ended up getting a old heep... but ran good. I was only going to fix it up a bit but it turned into a rebuild and ended up spending more lol

Anyhow someone posted about homemade tire chains and I thought you all might want to check them out. Im sure it can be done for your expedition....or your tractor if you plow.

I've never seen this before, its new to me but it might not be news for you...

That's pretty creative. Have you had a chance to test them out yet? It is crazy how much more traction you get by adding chains. My old 656 International is all chained up at home. They are an absolute necessity here when pushing through snow 3 foot snow drifts, and make pulling out stuck vehicles a lot easier too.

I havent used or built any yet. More then likely going to give them a go on the tractor. Besides last year we dont see a lot of deep snow. Wish it came like that every year but...
I thought the idea is Slick as hell! The only down side I see is they wont be able to bite into ice.
But if you are able to find a Mud tread that had damage and a lot of tread left that would make for some huge paddles! Make good in the sand too
