Idle problems

My 99 Ford Exp wont start if you dont step on the gas, the engine stops if you let go of the gas pedal, i tried researching via the net bout this and some says its the IAC valve, needs cleaning or something, can someone pls show me where the damn valve is located pls? and what it looks like..i've been driving my truck using both my legs, the other one stepping on the gas pedal and the other on the brakes in order for the engine not to stall, thanks guys.

Try this...... It's a great place to start......The IAC is pictured in the first post with the red arrow pointing to it. Also the second page of that post talks about your MAF which should also be cleaned. Let me know if this helps you.
