iPhone 12 - wireless charger not charging

Strange occurrence really. Wife and I both had iPhone 11, and they would always charge just fine on the wireless charging pad in the center console.
Recently I upgraded my phone to iPhone 12, and it simply won’t charge in the Expy. I removed the phone case, all to no avail. I get a message on the Sync screen that the phone charging isn’t functioning, or something to that extent. Strangely enough, it works just fine with my wife’s iPhone 11.

I’ve tried other wireless charger in the house with my phone and no issues.
Not a big deal, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and find that when in the wireless charger slot it flips from on to "the phone has been bumped or moved, please reseat the phone" or whatever. Basically intermittent off and on.
