Leaks but runs well

02 expy 4.6 4x4 256k miles.
Has been leaking water for about 6 months.
When started leaks water from welded joints in exhaust. I can live with that. But when running water leaks at back of transmission insulation pad on floor board . Engine and compartment very dry . Just water on pad and heat shield
Low heat on interior of truck. Just last week temp guage gets to hot mark and goes back down to almost normallooked for two hours while running and couldn't find a leak. Also produces noxious gas in truck weather heat is on or not .fogs up interior of glass. Help please

Wipe some of whatever fluid your talking about with your finger and smell it. If its sweet smelling, its coolant. If it smells like exhaust, then its water produced from emission byproduct.
