Btw, the 5.4 Expedition is a rocket ship compared to a early 1st gen Sequoia. On the way home from Toronto with the truck I had to do some passing on two lane secondary roads in light rain and the rear end would step out when kicking down from ~55mi/h. I need to get some kind of TAD in the rear axle if I ever regear. Probably do a Torsen/Tru-Trac.
I was shocked at how much power the truck had.
I also stopped on the truck scales on the way home. With a touch over a half tank of fuel and two passengers combined weight ~300 lbs we read at 2800 kg (6160 lb). Heavy metal.
~19.5 mpg (US gal) on the backroads (~55 mi/h cruise). I'm happy with that.
