My roof rack build

Sup yall I built a custom roof rack for my expy here's some pics. If u want details just comment!

Very nice. How did you bolt it to the luggage rack?

I drilled through. 3/8s inch bolt with fender washers on top and bottom. It seems to work real well!

U could also extend it so it hung over a little and bolt on each side of the crossmembers. This works fine tho

Looks real good but I may have to find way to build it to where it will slide so I can reach it.

I just open the doors and stand there. U could put a henge on the side so it opened. That's simple!

I made my own mounts lemme see if I can dig up a pic real quick... couldn't find any but I took some plate steel and made a bracket for the bottom and then a piece for the top real simple 2 flat pieces then a bolt that goes from the bottom up and is counter sunk so it just sandwiches the factory tracks... I got the idea from the little slidable rope tie down things.

Oh gotchya. Ya u could come up with somethin definitly!! And yes I'd like to see how else it can be mounted I'm not sure I trust those cross members
