Just checking in, long time Ford owner, first time Expedition owner however.
Forum was helpful in my purchase - picked up a 2008 Limited w/ 114k on the clock. Majority of the common fail items have already been replaced i.e window motors, running board actuators, plugs changed at 80K. Has the common bubbling on the hatch. Was a company vehicle prior to picking it up so I have 36 pages of carfax details - everything done on schedule.
Truck recently developed a flashing check engine light - only seems to happen when the truck is cold and within the first 5 mins of driving. Runs poorly like only hitting on half the cylinders - then is fine. Haven't seen anything like this discussed...but any tips would be great.
