hey all, looking for some help with a few things:

can the awd be turned off easily? somehow converted to 2wd

with the 5.4 , auto, what is my tow capacity?

what is best tranny cooler, location fluid to use?

can the factory running boards be removed , and aftermarket stainless tubes be installed for a base model?

what the best source for replacement seat heat elements, and leather? drivers seat is ripped?
thanks all

Awd can be turned off with the brown wire mod.. search the threads
it dosen't really do much for you, but 2 wheel burn outs.
Towing I think maxs out at 8000lbs ( I think the trailer needs brakes)
You can use a F250 Super duty cooler, again search I like Royal purple for fluilds. it mounts at the front of the rad.
factory boards can be removed and replaced with numerous tubes
I like N-Fab.
They should have some thing Premium Leather Interiors | Canada Seat Skins
or Premium Leather Interiors | Canada Seat Skins
or local shop.

Thats great all great info! would it not save a little on fuel not driving the front? we wont be doing burnouts haha. can a newer audio unit be swapped in out of a newer rig? are they all compatible like some other manufacturers? I work at a subie dealer, you can put a 2010 audio head , and plug it into a 94. we really want aux input, and this cd unit is intermittent

I don't think you can....not 100% sure. But you can put a double DIN unit in like mine, and get all sorts of options.

The MPG is not going to be seen, as far as I know your front only locks in if it feels slip.

Well turning off the awd and a set of geolanders we went from avg 13.1 to 16.3 mpg. So pretty excited. We ran the exact mountain pass for each test following the speed limit . 150km each time
