Ok guys...got a question...on my truck it has a angle oil filter adapter...when I got the truck is was ******* oil out of the adapter where it mounts to the engine..besides it was finger tight and moving around...my question is upon removal of the bolt I could see no washer or gasket on the bolt that mounts the adapter to the engine...SO, i used a small rubber "O" ring which has worked great till today and I hit the freeway....the "O" ring started leaking oil all over the place....does that bolt just fit flush and tighten or is there a plastic or copper washer that goes on it to seal it?
I know its not a expy and I really dont want to join the F-150 forum...so I hope you guys will help.
