My overhead lights don't usually work. I'm trying to figure out why.
How do you disassemble the lights? Pics would helpful.

if they work sometimes. it might be a problem with the door sensor. try opening each door and see if the lights trn on, that way you can know if its a door or light prob

Thanks, but I know it is not that.
The issue is with the wiring from the final connector in the harness to the bulbs.
If anyone has opened up this area, they will know what I'm talking about.
It is the section of wire that is like a metal ribbon, which has cracks and wrinkles now. Not sure what it is called...
That piece probably needs to be replaced, but I can't even get it out.
