I would get a new motor since your truck has been around the planet almost six times. Modular fords will last a long time with good care though. I have seen one with 225,000 miles. The guy used a full synthetic oil.I would find a 99 or newer motor with the power improved heads. Find a wrecked truck and yank the motor to swap into your own truck. Probably cost less than you think and it would have low miles if you find the right one.
