Power seat issue

The driver side power seat in my 97 Expy has stopped working. Since it's stuck in the rear position, I can't get to the rear mounting bolts to remove the seat.

Any suggestions?

Did you get anywhere with this? Mine would move slightly then stop. Replaced switch, same issue.

Mine is stripped I think too. Always was far back until the teen started driving and needed to move it around. You can kinda force it as the gear is turning. Maybe get someone in back pushing hard while the motor is going.
You do hear the motor right?
