I bought a 2003 XLT in November 2004. I love it but I noticed that when I drive on the highway that something on the doors rattle. I'm not sure if it is the bottom panel or the mirror. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes.
It may actually be the door itself rattling.
There is Technical Service Bulletin that addresses it. The tech will adjust the door striker & latch to eliminate the noise.
It worked for mine.
