I recently purchased a 2011 Limited. I was attempting to used the rear zone on Saturday for my kids to listen via Headphones while my wife and I listen to a different "source" up front.
I have 2 questions...
1 - the rear controls only work when "headphones" is also enabled. When having "rear controls" enabled nothing works until I also enable "headphones". Is this correct or proper?
2 - after finally getting the separate sources to work, 1 upfront and 1 in the rear, the rear speakers will not work only the headphone jack, but when the kids plug into the headphones jack it makes the sound in the front go in and out or up and down in sound. Have anyone else had this issue? Should rear speakers play the rear source when "headphones" aren't enabled?
