I need to replace the rear differential arm assembly for my 2016 Expedition EL XLT 4x4 and finding two different part numbers :8L1Z-4612-A and FL1Z-4612-A. The date code for my Expy is 4/16. Can anyone help with this. I am thinking the FL1Z is a replacement for 8L1Z but not sure.

TIA

Go talk to the guy in the parts dept at your local dealer before you get the wrong one.

And then go buy it somewhere else or order online so you don't get HOSED on the price.

Those #s are not both coming up as differential bracket. The first is and seems to fit many years.
Says it's #10 in diagram.
Used from 40.00 to new for 80 online from a quick search.

Is your truck doing the forward to reverse clunk that bracket causes? I’ve seen this on FordTechMakulocos channel.
