Rear tail light short

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had issues with their rear tail lights. my driver side one keeps shorting out. Not sure if its the plug or a wire in the turn signal stop. park light works just fine.

When you say short, are you referring to a dead short that blows the fuse, or worse. Or are you just blowing out bulbs? And please year, model, and engine, and whether 2 or 4 wheel drive? Some of the info doesn't matter, some does. Gives me and our members a better idea where to start.
