Looking for any leeds on a replacement/aftermarket rear liftgate. 07 XLT

Best bet would be local junk yards. I'm also in Connecticut and I know none of my local yards have any expeditions newer than first gen..but worth making some calls around.

Copartfinder.com is a good tool. I used a Hartford ZIP and found quite a few in a few hours drive. Al's Auto Parts in Trevose, PA seems to be your best option. I don't believe there is an aftermarket supplier for this part.

I'm fairly certain 2003+ hatch is no different than a 2007+.
