I finished the solid axle swap! it went better than i thought it would. I used rear leaf springs out of a 07 F350 dually (13 leaf packs, but took all but the 4 main springs out). made custom front spring hangers out of 1/2" thick diamond plate steel, bolted thru the frame and completely welded all the way around. The rear shackles are made out of 1/2" thick flat bar and Dom Tubing. They are on a heim joint ( ILL Explain this when someone asks). I used DOM tubing for the drag link and tie rod, with 3/4 QA1 heim joints. Full crossover steering, machined Hi steer knuckle on the passenger side. Drop pitman arm from a 95 F250 (same splines, 3 inch drop pitman arm to take some stress off that heim joint. all grade 8 bolts. I have some pictures. and will get them up loaded shortly.
