I figured out the problem. My wife’s phone fell out of the holder and hit the 4x4 switch. How hard is it to replace the switch?F8EDBCDF-7F3E-4E67-831F-D19BF240CA63.jpeg526D0B22-245A-4892-B77F-3C027F5A4F19.jpeg

Apparently, these switches do break on occasion. I ordered a replacement switch from my local dealer for $65. Now I need to access the plug for removal. How hard is it take apart the dashboard?

Funny you should post this. The porter that was bringing my truck around after the recall service last week whacked it somehow and broke the same dial. Of course the service advisor was pissed since he was afraid of the almighty survey. Parts had it in stock and the tech was able to fish it out with a long hook and NOT take apart the dash panel. 10 minutes or so to replace. Mine was snapped at the black shaft running down the middle and somehow he was able to pull the remainder out with the connector attached. Good luck!!

Update. Bought part from local dealership for $69.99. Paid my stereo guy 50 bucks to replace it, and it’s good as new.
