service engine soon light flashing

Coming home from work yesterday and noticed the service engine light was flashing then went off i drove another 30 miles and the light never came back on and it ran smooth the whole time. any input would be helpful.

What if any work/maintenance have you done to the expy.
Have you ever cleaned the exhaust ports thru the throttle body?
When were the plugs and or coil pacs last changed.
Fuel Filter?

plugs and coils changed last week cleaned MAF sensor but other than that nothing will scan truck later on today

Flashing check engine light is something they call a "class A misfire", basically it means that there's a dead cylinder. This also means that it's potentially dumping raw fuel into your exhaust which can and will damage your expensive cat. It's not advisable to drive with a flashing check engine light, doing so will lead to a more costly repair.
