Stock 1st gen sub amp adapter?

So my amp in my 2001 eb expy with premium sound package quit out on me awhile back. I know its the amp because a transistor in the amp is cracked in half. I decided to go with an aftermarket amp but it has rca connectors. What adapters do i need to have my new amp take the place of the factory amp? I would like to keep it as neat as possible.

Does the amp have high level inputs? If not a line level adapter will do the trick.

not to thread highjack, but related question--is there a way to bypass the amp in the 1st gen and have the speakers powered directly off of the aftermarket headunit?

Yes, The plug is between the center con and dash. Unplug it and plug in a genaric ford plug and wire ti stereo.
