Ecoboost and even the 5.0’s have all well documented ailments. You can search easily.

I’ll follow this thread as I just posted a thread asking opinions on what truck or suv, new or used, can last another 10 years minimum and do 300k miles without opening the engine or tranny.

Fuel mileage irrelevant. 90% highway driving. Occasional 5000lb tow long distance.

$35k budget.

Is there such a thing anymore? I mean since the gen 5.4 2v engines.

Hes gonna have issues with that yukon. The gm thread has many of them being problematic.
