Third brake light not working

I repaced the three bulbs they were definitely burned out put new ones in still dont work is there a fuse just for third brake light? Any suggestions would be appreciated police officer gave me a warning today and its kinda of a small city so i am sure he will keep an eye out for me in the future.2001 expedition

Check fuse #13 under the dash Also are your 4 way flashers working?

Found all the sockets are rusty and dirty tried cleaning them got one to work but the other two are no good i am trying to fing new ones now

If you can't the lights fixed just keep a box of doughnuts with you.
