Reputable site? The wording of the condition statement sounds like ebay. If so you have buyer protection worst case scenario. That is a very low price for a new Pioneer unit.

Does sound way too good to be true but maybe try googling the host site's name and add "legitimate?" And see if there are any reviews there to help you out

possibly...the original price of it was $249 and now it is discontinued...don't know how long it has been discontinued so it's possible that u can get it for $87...they're just trying to get rid of it

Probably a good reason shipping isn't mentioned. Common marketing technique (unfortunately) that some folks think is pure genius. $100 shipping. Now you are at $187 shipped, just like every other online retailer.
