Very simple 18mm socket a breaker bar and muscle... look at the seem between front n back doors, follow that to under the truck. Look for a single bolt with the torsion bar going into it. That's wat u tighten. First measure fender height both sides, record it so u don't forget. Lol. Jack the truck up off the ground and set it on jackstands.tighten the two bolts all the way downand then back the bolt out 1 or 2 full turns. Set the truck on the ground drive it to the gas station and back then measure in the same spot as before to make sure you gain the same on both sides. Adjust accordingly and wala

another trick is make a mark on the bolt head and across the torsion bars so that you can count how many turns you do to both sides that way you can keep truck level

the metal spacers work just fine and they don't give you the extra squishy feeling the coil springs already give you enough of that

Thanks for the help, got the coil spacers ordered from FatBobs. Hoping I can do this stuff myself, way too pricey otherwise. I would love to find a walkthrough and tool list for the torsion crank/spacers and the BL install...anyone know of where to look? the ones I have found are pretty vague. Finally found a warm shop I can work in for a couple days. No hydraulic lift or anything, but a lot of 3 ton floor jacks and an air compressor, so I'm getting there....

there should be a "how-to" somewhere on here for the torsion bars. just use the search function on here and you should be able to find it. as for spacers and body lift, somebody will chime in. the spacers and torsion twist will be easy. the body lift will be a little bit of a PITA so make sure you have some help so you dont torch your truck when you get angry! hahha use some PB on the body mounts for at least a few days before you attempt the body lift.

What kind of rear spacer do you need for the rear? Basically just a block to lift up the rear end of the truck? Basically I'm looking for an official name for the rear spacer, if that makes any sense.
