looks like the rear air suspension in my 97 expy finally gave out. Looks like the overwhelming opinion in the forum is to slap in a conversion kit. However, I'm thinking about buying a boat in the near future and want us use the expy as the tow vehicle.

If I'm looking at towing a 20-24 ft deckboat, would a conversion kit still work? Would I need to use a load leveler,or just bite the bullet and replace the air suspension?

I tow my 24' travel trailer with a coil conversion just fine.
As far as the load leveler, boats typically don't have a lot of tongue weight. It shouldn't be necessary.
