Trailer hitch

Has anyone tried to find a new trailer hitch for a 2007 expedition or newer? I'm having the hardest time. Mines rotted out and everywhere I check they all say my truck comes from the factory with one, like I don't know that

Have you tried a pick & pull? It's only a few easily accessible bolts.

The factory receiver hitch is welded onto the frame. Any after market bolt on unit would require the factory receiver to be removed by breaking the welds. This is probably why you can't find a replacement.

The actual 2" receiver is welded to the receiver frame. As shown in the attached picture there are 4 bolts on either side of the frame and if removed the receiver frame comes off the truck. Just like an aftermarket.

I stand corrected..you are right. And I also found the hitch. It appears it is orderable.
