iMO Drain and fill is the way to go. Replenishes additives that wear out over time. No way that fluid is “lifetime”. Doing drain and fill gradually eases new fluid in with the old.

I just did mine over the weekend in my 2014. Alot of helpful information here.
I only replaced about 5-6qts as I only got about 5qts out from draining.

correct, i was mixing up SP.... if you have 6R75, you have SP, and as far as i know there is no compatible replacement for SP
Valvoline Maxlife is SP compatible.

I just used it in my 08 with the 6r75 and many others have used it in their f150’s with success for hundreds of thousands of miles.

I use Maxlife in all my cars, great products.
