trans fluid change

At what mailage should the trans fluid/filter be changed. Thanks!

If you tow or are a little ****, annually. If not, 30K miles. Change the transfer case fluid at the same time.

The diffs are synthetic.

As far as the others. What is wrong with Ford's fluids?

I use Mobil 1 tranny fluid.

I've got nothing against Ford's fluids.

I'm just more interested in having fresh fluid and if the opportunity arises, would go synthetic if it's any better.

For the differential and transfer case, it should be all a sealed system, but my feeling is that on new vehicles, there's always some metal shavings that work themselves out during break in period.

It's just peace of mind to get all that stuff out and have fresh stuff in there - call me ****.
