2020 XLT with only 34,000 miles and when accelerating at about the shift from 7th to 9th gear the RPMs suddenly drop and the gas pedal seems non-reactive. RPMs settle in at about 1,100 in 9th gear cruising. Auto-stop off. Happens sporadically, but at speeds that could create a problem. Added engine "treatment" to gas and replaced air filter. Still happens. Car really too new to have most of the fuel related problems unless just an unlucky part. Wondering if this is the 10 speed transmission problem that was allegedly fixed for my model year design. I have heard tell of the onboard computer having to be retaught how to shift, but I didn't change anything. Is this just AI laughing at me... maybe telling me to buy a Toyota (2003 Sequoia lasted to 2020 with very few problems). Going to make the trek to my dealer, but if this continues I will have to eat the depreciation and buy something not U.S., which pains me. Please advise and share your experiences -- there are so many Expeditions and F150s out there I find it hard to believe that this is acceptable.
