I have a 2017 Ford Expedition Limited with 26,000 miles. The other day I was pulling into a parking lot and the Expedition just slowed down and the engine revved. I coasted into the nearest parking place and shut her down. I went to restart and the brake pedal was rock hard and it would not turn over. It gave me both the check engine light and the wrench symbols. Pulled out the manual and found that it was the transmission. I almost called me a tow truck but she restarted after trying 3 times. I drove slowly to the dealership. They did the diagnostic check and it was not the engine but the transmission. They told me it was a module / sensor problem and they will have to drop the transmission to repair. I checked for recalls for this but could not find any. Have any of you guys heard of this problem before? It's still under warranty. Thanks.
