So for anyone that has ever removed the starter on an 07-14 (15-17?) Knows that top bolt is a nightmare. I figured out the easiest, most direct route today. In the past this bolt has taken me hours to remove/install and this is by far the easiest. It does take some work to get it all in. send the socket, swivel and 20" over the shock tower and under the manifold. Then attach your 6" and your off to the races. Of course this take a little maneuvering but works great

13mm deep socket
3/8 Kobalt impact swivel
20" 3/8 extension
6" 3/8 extension
And your choice of ratchet.

Nice of you to post this. The same regimen works on the First Generation trucks. I learned about that with blood... I rolled around in a snow covered parking lot for hours before figuring this out.

On my first gen, second and third should be same. I removed the right front tire, used a long extension and socket with swivel, came right off/on.
