Low speed, especially while turning - odd deep rub sound/feel. It's almost as if it's binding a bit as if 4wd was engaged, OR I had worn-through a rotor (the rotors are fine). My welding guy thinks the 4wd isn't disengaging - suggested I get the truck off the ground and spin the wheels see what happens. I am sure the axle would spin - but as long as the front drive shaft isn't spinning everything should be okay, no?

found a possible solution - rear end fluid change + friction modifier. Gonna try it.

Oh good!

See I'd have known that if ya had your year in your sig ;-)

I hope the fluid change helps though!

Just razzin' ya :)

I have had LSD rear ends do exactly what you're describing and a fluid change drastically improved their behavior.
