Also I hear only buy the steel not aluminum is that true?

steel wheel spacers ??? had no clue they made em thought only high grade aluminium was available. Why steel ??? nothing wrong with aluminium ones if you install them like there supposed to be an the correct ones

Heard the steel ones were safer. The aluminum have been known to fail. What is proper instillation?
Aluminum spacers corrode when placed against the steel drum or rotor. Galvanic reaction between the two metals.
Aluminum spacers are a wear & maintenance item effectively. Real exciting when things work themselves loose. Been there, done that.
If you want something that is install and mostly forget, get steel spacers. They should at a minimum be inspected / re-tightened with every oil change or 5000 kms or so.
