Depends, is his f150 two or four wheel drive? Since he's your friend, why not swap them and see! Yours is an easy one, just time on your and friends part. Buy him a beer, do the swap this weekend. You've got both trucks in the same town, like Nike says just do it.

Make sure you have the same lug nuts, I swapped with a 2008 ford f150 and he had a cap over his lugnuts, and I had the long lug nut and it wouldn't work.
