Will a Queen Mattress fit?

Hello Ford Expedition Forum Members!

1. Can I move a Queen Mattress inside a Ford Expedition with the rear hatch closed? (assuming all the seats are folded)

2. Have you done so?

If it helps -- The size of a queen mattress is 60 x 80 inches.

I can't seem to find the interior dimensions after the seats are folded anywhere online.

I need to move my mattress from SF to LA in a few weeks and was thinking of a renting one-way from Hertz.

Your help is appreciated!

Yes, it just has to flex a bit.

I don't think a rigid box spring will fit, but I've had a queen matress in mine.

Yeah the box spring definintely won't fit, and if it's a thin mattress it could bend, but I have a thick double mattress that wouldn't fit.

i mean the box spring probley wont but the materess might and if not you could always put it on the roof or rent a trailer from uhaul
