Wind Noise From Rain Guard

I installed 4 in channel rain guards on my 03 Expedition. The problem is a whistling noise from the driver's guard. All the others are fine. I made sure the tape was adhered and the window all the way up but at 47 mph and above whistling. Not to be outdone I used clear caulking around the guard to stop the noise. Didn't work. Last night I pulled the damn thing out and cleaned the channel. Closed the window and the noise was gone. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I fixed the wind noise but I have 3 windows with guards and 1 without. Thanks for your reply it was a lot of help.
