Windshield Wiper Icon Is On

Hi, the windshield wiper light is on. I filled up the reservoir and the light is still on. What could possibly be? Do anyone have that problem? Thanks. Oh, it's a 99' ford expedition eddie bauer triton v8 5.4

try to wiggle the connection or disconnect and clean the contacts and reconnect
