would going with a taller tire help the gas mileage

i know when i go to the drag strip with my stang that a taller tire takes away some gear so would going with a taller tire or wheel say 20's help a little on hwy mileage? i was curious as to what the guys riding on the 20+ tires were getting

Bigger rims or tires are going to weigh more and also take more power to turn, so they will decrease your mpg.
