over the years ive seen interest in 6.8 swaps. i used to own an excursion with a 6.8 and i dont know if i was just lucky but i had no issues with that engine and just loved it. great sound, so smooth. anyway. i came across a wrecked 2015 former ambulance with a working, running 6.8 and drivetrain. Would the complete and running donor make a swap fairly painless into a 2005 Expy? I have heard that engine mounts are pretty much the same. i have heard horror stories of splcing wiring, etc. but if i have the complete harness, etc, what all would i have to worry about?
