Hi new here: I have a 2000 ford expedition 139,000 miles own 13 yrs we love the truck, Now my problem this just started, In the morning when you go to start the engine kicks but stalls right away But if you turn on the key as soon as she kicks pump the accelerator to 1,500 rpm's for 5 seconds she runs great
you can drive anywhere and not have a problem by the way there are no codes. I had 1 cacum hose replaced but it still stalls. If anyone can give any idea what could cause this, It would be greatly appreciated Everone have a great thanksgiving !!!!!

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Have you cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle plate?

Does this only happen from a cold first start, or if the engine has ran a while and everything warm, shut the engine off and let it sit for 1 - 5 minutes, does it still stall without assistance?

Thanks Captain Morgan: In answer to your question it only happens at cold start in the morning. I have not changed fuel filter, or maf sensor or even checked throttle plate.

Try turning you key to cycle the fuel and wait about 10 seconds...may be fuel sender or something fuel pump/fuel Assy related
