Ok so does anybody know if there are lowering kits for a 2007 Expeditioin EL Limited (non airbag suspension). I can not seem to find one anywhere. So can someone point me in the right direction. Also has anybody seen a lowered 07 EL? Thanks for your help.

Bump from a long time ago. Also looking for lowering springs for an 2010 EL 4x4. Nothing radical, just an inch or two.

The McGaughy's kit works on a 4wd. I have it on mine and I love it.

Looks good, I like the stance. Now you just get rid of that roof rack lol.

View attachment 5896mcgaughpy's kit and cut coil springs

Looks like some serious camber up front

Lots of questions...to start

How much coil did you cut? Half? Full?
Did you upgrade struts?
Do you have any pictures of the suspension compressed? Intrigued to see what kind of potential interference there is - some of the lifted guys are showing knuckle interference at 3" up...you look about the same down..

I agree. I personally would never cut springs

Eddiemoney, I cut 1 coil off the front and 3/4 coil off the rear. The stock front strut is to long for this much drop. I am working on finding the right length. It is a stffer ride for sure.

New set up for front end. 03 rear struts with same cut front springs. Had to use the 03 spring mounts instead of the mcguaghy's drop mounts. Rides good, not to rough.

Can you get some pictures of some of the angles, suspension clearance, etc under the truck?
