My truck is stuck in 4 wheel drive.... I think it's time to build the transfer case

Try some seafoam in the T case. Maybe it will clean sticking parts up. Then fresh lube.
Thanks! Seems to be alright ish now I tapped the motor and it clunked into place...
Also I straight piped my Expy a couple days ago and kept the cats because my muffler was extremely rotted out

I was following an excursion today. Those things are beastly. Id like to own one as well. I bought a new air cleaner clamp and some coolant today. Changed the oil on my new reman engine yesterday. Thinking about doing my transmission fluid and filter as well.

They're still a highly sought after vehicle. A buddy of mine ditched his last year with 350K+ on the clock and in need of some serious work (including tranny replacement) and he still got over $7K for it. NADA on an '05 Limited diesel is ~$15k private party.

I've been trolling the Excursion forum on ford-trucks.com for several months.

I didn't drive my Expedition today. Opted for the Explorer instead.

Today For the first time since I bought this truck I actually got 8 people total in it for a drive plus two strollers which were tricky placing them in the back

Ah yes. I found it much better to open the glass, not the door. You just have that when you OPEN the door at your destination. Some of those strollers hurt when they land on your toes. [emoji849]

I replaced the thermostat and gasket last night. The truck was taking forever to warm up and was running cold once it did. I haven't taken it out yet today (work nights), but based on the driveway run things seem to be back in order.

Changed the oil today and replaced the radiator cap. Original cap was still holding pressure, but the spring was weak and the gasket was pitted so I figured for $11 I might as well replace it. I also washed all the windows and de-goo'd the windshield (phone mount glue tends to melt at the peak of summer).

I had originally picked up a Stant replacement cap last week, but the brand new cap wouldn't even hold 1 lb of pressure (tested w/ pressure tester). Went with a Motorcraft in the end.
