Thanks that's a possibilityPut some double sided tape under the bracket, it should reduce the vibration a bit.
Use the rubber grommets where ??Use rubber grommets
Relocating the bar higher up is a thought but I prefer the visor look.1)Remount the bar farther back on the roofline so that it isn't getting blown from the wind coming off the windshield.
2) Add a center support to the bar to reduce the harmonics/buffeting if you don't relocate it.
3) Add stiffer brackets if the bar is rigid. Mount with some type of insulator to soak up the harmonics.
No, between the mounts and the roofUse the rubber grommets where ??
I'm assuming between the light bar and the mounts?
Thanks

I didn't use the roof mounts that came with the light bar .I used door jam mounts. No, between the mounts and the roof
I didn't use the roof mounts that came with the light bar .I used door jam mounts.
But I noticed that the roof mounts that came with the light bar did come with rubber grommets that goes between the mounts and the roof. But definitely makes sense now.
But with me going the door jam method maybe I can find some thin 3/16 thick rubber and put it between the mounts and the door jam ..Thanks for your help
