Okay I'm new here and have a 03 expy. My wife loves it. Anyhow I was wondering of anyone has done the front end swap to an f150 or newer expy itself?? If so please let me know as I'm wanting to get started on it.

I'm sure about an f150 front end conversion but I do know that you can put a 2007-2014 expedition front end on a 03-06. alls you would need would be the hood, headlights, grill, and bumper cover. I think maybe the header panel too so that the headlights mount correctly and the grill. The 03-06 fenders work with the headlights, so you wont need to worry about getting those

Alright I know I've heard that the headlight and grill would need just custom brackets and what would be the best lift kit in your guys opinion

I will be running th 100 dollar ebay 3.5/2.5 spacer lift in a week or so once my new wheels and tires get in. I also have a body lift I am contemplating putting on.

That'll look really sweet man. I'm hoping here soon to be start working on it looking to get dash pieces wrapped in carbon fiber and convert all interior to led lights.

And I plan on starting to buy the 08 09 f150 front end pieces once I sell my 4runner I see everyone do a newer expedition front end but I personally like the f150 and I found a hell of a deal on a mega ranch hand brush guard cheap that would look sweet on it also

One thing I like about the first gens are the chrome metal bumpers, more "truck like" so when I got my '03 I looked at what would be involved in going with an F150 front end and I believe you would need both front fenders, front bumper and possible hood as the F150 grill is attached to the hood where the Ex has the full bumper cover going up to the hood line, also the lower plastic valance under the bumper. I do have a Cert fit catalog here so I will look up some part numbers
