you already have one, its just vented into the intake side of the air box plumbing,
they do make some interesting noises open to the air.

I know, but the videos I've seen on the F150s are pretty cool. Not too obnoxious and just enough to set it apart from every other Ex where I'm from. I also like how easy it is to install and remove so dealers don't give me any ***t

I own a 2015 Expediton Limited 4x4, purchased new.

What is the purpose of this modification? What do you hope to accomplish with it? Thanks.

Also removed the two intake silencers in the intake piping to free up some air flow

I had a 100% VTA bov on my Focus ST and I grew to hate it. The novelty of it wore off very fast.

When you're 16-17, you want it as loud as you can possibly get it. When you hit 50, a whistling luggage rack is beyond irritating.

I still like it loud for some things but that thing was just obnoxious. Being it had a manual transmission it was constantly going off. I don’t think it’ll be as bad on the expedition.

Amen to that. I don't even noisy tires, and as much as I wanted my old 5.4 to have a good sound I didn't want to put up with the drone going down the highway for an 8 hour drive. :)

All those Honda civics with the fart cans... why just... what could you be thinking... why why why?? Never understood making a 4 banger noisy they don't have a harmonic sound it's just that... a fart.

To each his own. Not a fan of a twin turbo sounding like a Prius. If you don't like it keep your comments to yourself.

Can't knock that..........I removed the silencer on my little cars supercharger and modded the intake so I could hear the supercharger whine....turbine power on tap...slick!

enjoy, it's YFT! (your f'in truck)

the ricer in me wants to do this mod as well lol. I read somewhere that they changed the BPV on the ecoboost at some point so it wont work on all 3.5's (F150). Couldn't find any info on the expedition though

And many of them drive through residential neighborhoods with the engine at high RPM's - I want to throw a brick at them!

My Honda S2000 with a Tanabe Medalion Touring dual exhaust has a bit of resonance due slightly unequal pipe lengths. Not fart can for sure. I may have to get one of the very same fake blow off devices I recommend for driving by the various high schools.

Just got the mod on today. 3 minutes to install. Remove dust cover, twist off intake tubing, insert plug and tighten filter down with provided clamp. Here are some pics
